Planet Sub The Strand at Huebner Oaks Opening Soon in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO - May 31, 2016 - PRLog -- Planet Sub is coming to San Antonio at Huebner Oaks shopping center. The new sub shop has a projected mid-summer opening planned.

Owner José Antonio Cue Carpio is thrilled to bring the first Planet Sub location to the San Antonio area, with second location planned to open later on. "I am excited to share with the San Antonio community a brand that is original, fresh, and delicious," he said.

The owners will host a VIP pre-opening event sometime this summer, with more details to come closer to the opening. Attendees of the event will be able to enter to win fun prizes like a year of free subs, $2.00 sandwiches, and more!

While Planet Sub was originally founded in Lawrence, KS, today there are dozens of franchise locations across the Midwest. There are already a number of PSUB locations in the Austin, Dallas and Fort Worth areas.

Planet Sub The Strand at Huebner Oaks will, of course, offer all the beloved PSUB staples, like the Turkey Club, but will also feature fresh Planet Sub originals, like The Experience (signature chicken, bacon, pepperoni, pepper jack, cream cheese, jalapeños and chipotle) and Torpedo (salami, pepperoni, spicy capicola, provolone, red onions, lettuce, banana peppers, oregano, oil and vinegar). The new location will also offer vegetarian options like the Veggie Grinder, as well as gluten-free options safe for those with celiac disease or gluten sensitivities. Planet Sub is also happy to serve health-conscious options; any sub can be turned into a delicious romaine lettuce wrap that is low carb and low calorie, but still with that delicious PSUB taste.

The Strand at Huebner Oaks location will offer lunch and dinner with options to dine in or order online for takeout, as well as catering services. More information about the opening date to come soon!
