Seattle to host 2016 Karaoke World Championships USA Finals

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - May 10, 2016 - PRLog -- Karaoke World Championships USA (KWC USA) is proud to announce that the 2016 KWCUSA National Finals will take place September 22nd - 25th, 2016 at Box House in Seattle, Washington.

The nation's top amateur singers will compete in 3 divisions; Men's, Ladies and Duets. The champions in each division will go on to represent the United States against teams from 25+ countries at the World Finals November 1st - 6th, 2016 in Vancouver, Canada.

"KWC USA is privileged to bring our National Finals to Seattle for the first time ever. Washington State has one of the most vibrant singing communities in the nation," says KWC USA president Whitney-John Stuart. "We invite the rest of the country's best singers to come to Seattle and help us crown the next national champions."

As the Washington State Director for the fourth time, Joshua Baron of J.R.Baron Productions and co-founder of Absolute Karaoke Entertainment Group, LLC. is honored to have the opportunity to bring this dynamic world singing competition to the Pacific North West (PNW) and share the vibrancy of the karaoke community here with amazing singers from around the country. Seattle and the surrounding areas have a thriving community of talented singers and performers of all backgrounds. In 2015 Washington State placed 5th in both mens and womens divisions and we are excited to invite the best singers around the country to come compete in Seattle.

DUETS

For the first time ever, KWCUSA is introducing a Duet championship title. This will be an exclusive event at the National finals. Any song can be used as a duet piece. Individual singers may register to be a part of 2 separate teams. Teams can be made up of a combination of male/female, all male or all female. Registration will be online @ http://www.kwcusa.com

QUALIFY FOR NATIONAL FINALS

This year, there will be 2 ways to qualify for the National Finals: through live performances at local and state venues or direct entry into the event. Singers who are interested in participating directly in this year's event are asked to visit http://www.kwcusa.com/directentry.html
