KWC USA National Karaoke Championships returning to New Mexico for 2015 season

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - June 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Karaoke World Championships USA (KWC USA) is proud to announce that the KWCUSA National Karaoke Championships will be holding qualifying events and a state championship in New Mexico for the 2015 season. Aaron Slaten of LonghaiR Entertainment has been appointed New Mexico State Director for KWCUSA.

Qualifying and State finals will be held at Grace O’Malley’s Irish Pub in Ruidoso. Competition will run every Wednesday from June 17^th - August 5^th with 4 weekly winners (2 men & 2 women) returning for the State finals on August 12^th. The state men’s and ladies champion will win airfare and hotel to Little Rock, Arkansas and sing off against performers from across the country at the National Finale September 24-27. The nation’s top male and female singer will represent the United States against teams from 30+ countries at the Karaoke World Championships November 19-22 in Singapore.

I know New Mexico has the talent to compete at both the National and World level. I see & hear it every week at Grace O'Malley's. We looking for the state’s next singing sensations and adding their names to the list of New Mexicans that have become National Karaoke Champions, like Ruidoso's own Brian Scott (2009 Male, 5th in World), Albuquerque's Edward Pimentel (2010 Male, Top 10 World Finalist) & Tami Marie (2009 Female, 3rd in World).

SINGER QUALIFICATION:

This year, there will be 3 ways to qualify for the National Finale: through live performances at local and state venues, video song submissions or self-sponsorship. Singers who are interested in participating in this year’s event are asked to visit the official website @ www.kwcusa.com
