DRC mining community to honour top people and projects at DRC Mining Industry Awards in Lubumbashi

LUBUMBASHI, Congo, The DR of - May 6, 2016 - PRLog -- The mining industry in the DRC will once again honour its top industry leaders and projects at the DRC Mining Industry Awards that will take place at the high-level gala dinner on 8 June, during DRC Mining Week in Lubumbashi, DRC. The awards bring together 150 of the industry's most influential professionals and is the leading event and platform to recognise, reward and celebrate the success of the DRC's mining sector during 2015/16.

"We all know that the mining community is facing challenges at the moment and we are really proud of how the sector is staying focused and committed. We look forward to honouring the pioneers in DRC's mining sector" says Elodie Delagneau, event director for DRC Mining Week conference and expo, which is expected to gather some 800 mining professionals in the country's mining hub.
