FORT WORTH, Texas - April 20, 2016 - PRLog -- Local author and HIV advocate Diane Reeve will be at the Hulen Mall Barnes & Noble for the signing  of her newly released book "Standing Strong The Inspirational Story of an Unlikely Sisterhood and the Court Case that Made History". Reeve was responsible for making sure a serial a serial HIV predator was sent to prison. This fascinating case--won only
through the help of new DNA science--is Diane's story of
victory and her mission to bring awareness and
empowerment to others.

Joining Reeve on April 21 at 6 PM will be members of the Black Women's Initiative of Tarrant County, chaired by Dr.Wanda Floyd Strothers, Chair and Faith Mitchell, Vice Chair. This group, formed in 2010, meets regularly to promote empowerment and educate and increase awareness to prevent HIV. Its members are made up of representatives from organization such as image MHMR and TCHD.

Reeve is being supported by this group as a tribute to her courage in coming forward on such national TV shows as the Oprah Winfrey show and 20/20. She is a native Texan who lives in Plano.
