An Army of Artists unite July 9th and 10th for Shawnee Riverfest V, the largest roster to date

POCONOS, Pa. - April 12, 2016 - PRLog -- NY, NY, PA-  Over 14 Acts, including Canadian band The Celebration Army come together at the historic Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort to perform for a free 7+ hour family friendly concert benefiting the E. Stroudsburg Salvation Army's Emergency Disaster Service Program.  "I placed this event online this year, and was overwhelmed by the number of artists, close to 150, looking to support an incredible organization and cause" says Gil Coronado, Event Organizer, of CILA llc Management. "This event is the sole fund raiser for the Emergency Disaster Service Program for the E.Stroudsburg Salvation Army.  The funds raised will go directly into the community for those in need of emergency services, food, and shelter".

    The Shawnee Riverfest Weekend kicks off as the bands converge into the Delaware Water Gap for rehearsal at the Castle on Saturday July 9th.  Then after rehearsal, these artists gather at the Sycamore Grille at 7:30 pm for an informal "Meet and Greet" where the public can meet the artists, take photos, and hear their music.  Also the artists get a chance to connect with each other, network, and share this event socially.  A percentage of the bar goes to Shawnee Riverfest, as Sycamore Grille will already be kicking off the fundraising with this event.

     Then on Sunday July 10th, the main event takes place with a 7+ free family friendly concert at the historic Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. The roster is as diverse as ever from a sister act "Serenity and Kendall" to the Shawnee Playhouse cast of "Honky Tonk Angel".  Shawnee Riverfest will also includes acts WYLAND, The Celebration Army, "Robin and Casey", Natalia Segura, Shara Tallada, Francesca Provitera, The Liz Nordstrom Band, Kendall Phillips, Reagan Brown, FuSia Dance Center, The Phil Firetog Trio, Weareaplusa, Danny and Caroline, Minnie Dee.  In addition to the wide array of artists, there will be Guest Emcee Christina Luna of the Pocono 96.7 Radio Show, "Tu Voz con Christina", and special guest speakers State Representative David Parker, State Representative Rosemary Brown, and Lorna O'Farrell.  There will also be special performances by FuSia Dance Company to LIVE performances by these acts.  "We are so thrilled to be apart of this event, our 3rd year in a row, and support this wonderful community cause.  We are really excited to dance to live music this year- which will really ad to the shows production" says Francesca Marinaro, Owner of FuSia Dance Company.

   There will be plenty to do for kids and families, from face painting, a bouncy house, an outdoor photography booth, food, ice cream, auction items, art, and more.  There is even an art contest, where the winners work will be placed on T-Shirts, and they will be recognized during this event.
