"The A4L Community has always maintained a strong focus on driving the adoption and implementation of interoperable open data standards throughout the education marketplace." The leadership of this group is more critical than ever in impacting the UK educational marketplace following the opening Ministerial Keynote at BETT 2016, where the Rt Hon Nicky Morgan, Secretary of State for Education and Minister for Women and Equalities, discussed open standards principles and the data exchange project. The UK Community also held elections for the UK Technical Board, who provide the technical oversight for the SIF (United Kingdom) Specifications.
