BANGALORE, India - March 18, 2016 - PRLog -- The technology industry is booming thanks to the waves of new startups cropping up on a seemingly daily basis. And there's no shortage of skilled candidates to fill the positions required to get these companies up and running. So why is hiring so difficult? The entire process is time-consuming, ineffective, and frustrating for both job candidates and employers. According to a recently published report by ManPowerGroup, 58 percent of Indian employers find it difficult to get the right kind of technical talent.

Luckily, there are a few startups that are turning the tables on recruiting with targeted prospecting algorithms, which makes the entire process efficient than ever before. Applicant search is now transformed into precise talent-matching through the collection and curation of data from numerous sources. The new platforms are also reforming the way how job seekers and employers interact with each other.

Today a product by the name of Hirearkhy (Hirearkhy.com) is riding the wave by using dating site technology as a model for matching job seekers with an employer. After screening over 30 data points' using proprietary machine learning algorithm, curated matches are directly delivered to both users based on the relevance. Users have the choice to accept or reject and can completely remain anonymous until both sides agree to match, much like a dating site.

Hirearkhy stands out because it is not a job board or an Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Job seekers cannot apply for jobs on the site; instead they only see jobs that they might actually be interested in, while, companies can only see potentially matched candidates on their dashboard. Once both parties agree to match the communication can be further taken ahead using a two way chat system.

Hirearkhy is the first product from Spurrin Innovation Pvt Ltd (Spurrin.com), a privately-held innovation firm based out of Bangalore, India. Spurrin is spearheaded by Ravi and Siddeeque, alumni of Nottingham University Business School. Both had faced the daunting task of trying to attract and hire great talent in their previous companies. Back in 2015, during the course of a conversation at a popular coffee joint in Bangalore, the duo struck upon the idea for Hirearkhy and started working on building the product which makes the hiring efficient and user centric.

The product is currently in private beta and is being tested with 10 clients in Bangalore. The product will soon be open to startups and bigger companies. Hirearkhy is a team of six full-time employees. The team recently raised a small round of funding from an undisclosed investor. The funds are used towards further development of technology and product base.

For now, Hirearkhy is focusing on tech industry in India, primarily matching software developers, creative professionals (UX/Design) and sales/marketing professionals. Hirearkhy's business model is very similar to traditional consultancy, charging a minimal hiring fee (success fee) for each hire, however, will be soon switching to subscription based model to scale up to a broader market.
