Author David F. Farris New Book in the ERAFEEN Series
Author and artist David F. Farris mentally visualized his fantasy world first, next he created it in sculpture, and then he wrote about it with uncanny realism.
This certainly is the case with Book One of Erafeen: The Jestivan. The mythical world of the Light Realm is vividly portrayed in this novel as kingdoms are described with such stunning visual imagery the reader can easily imagine themselves in the Light Realm. Farris' writing easily fits into the fantasy genre as his story goes before and beyond the covers of this premier novel book one of the series.
The art of storytelling is exemplified by Ferris' ability to interleave humor and dark themes together in a seamless blend of literary entertainment. "That was done purposefully,"
Regarding the rest of the series, Ferris said, "I want people to laugh as much as possible while they can. This series is dark, and while it may not reach its darkest depths in Book 1, it will get there soon enough."
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: David Farris developed a love for storytelling as a child, when first reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Later down the road, which love intensified after reading The Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss and watching a lot of anime. He has spent the past five years of his life obsessing over a world and characters big enough to dwarf some of the most well-known fantasies.
