CBSE schools: Now, digital tool to boost marks !

NEW DELHI - March 13, 2016 - PRLog -- In this digital competitive age where teaching and learning  have moved to the next level, an edtech company is simply taking the academic performance of CBSE schools to a new level. Students'  Math and Science competency levels  have started soaring within weeks after starting. An icing on the cake,  a K-12 mobile app is also available for students where parents too can monitor their kin's progress.

"Following  successful  trial-runs in Delhi and Punjab schools  for about a year, we  launched this tool sometime back through  our program called Teacher Assistant  which is helping  students  improve their scores in class,"  informed  Mr.  Kamal Wadhera, the CEO of  TCYonline, adding, "So far over 80  CBSE  schools  have associated with us and more are joining pan-India following highly encouraging reviews of this program."

This online program brings all the stake-holders in the education of a child -- students, teachers, parents and principals - towards a common goal and gives customized suggestions for them. In a way it is win-win for all.

At the same time it is also true that while some schools are fully equipped with the state-of-the-art computer labs and others still in their nascent modernization stage, and slowly catching on, students and teachers today are all fortified with laptop-notebooks and smart-phones.

Advantage Teacher Assistant:

When a school adopts this program, a student's online test follows the completion of each module of a chapter in his/her class.  The assessment engine generates actionable reports to guide students, parents and teachers.  The end-result is assured improvements in students with corrective action by the stakeholders.

Students know 'where they stand' and what next to do. They get to know topics mastered and topics to improve on and performance relative to other students.  In this way they can benchmark themselves with similar students in his class, city, state and throughout India. Parents know 'where exactly to help'. They get actively involved as they know how their child is doing, know his improvement areas and feel empowered to help him.

On the other hand, teachers, for whom this teaching tool is made for, can 'individualise learning'. They get in-depth analysis to know student's strengths/weaknesses, identify common misconceptions and arrange effective remedial classes. Principals get 'real-time control' over academics. They get snapshots of the entire school, on relative performance of the school, how each class is progressing and how each teacher is performing.

According to CBSE experts, the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) of students is the key to   scientific and objective evaluation of their performance throughout the academic year.   Instead of waiting for the final exam papers, students should be quantitatively and qualitatively evaluated throughout the year.  This saves the students too from undue pressure close to final exams.  So, in such a scenario the Teacher Assistant program proves quite useful.

"Our technology and strong backend support that makes customized learning happen in institutions is our success secret pan-India and we would continue to strive for excellence in the years to come,"  concluded  the CEO.
