DLA approved supplier of obsolete electronic components

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - March 8, 2016 - PRLog -- Stock-Point Electronics, an AS9120 certified supplier of obsolete board level electronic components, has passed an onsite audit performed by engineers from the DOD-DLA for approval in the QTSL & QSLD Program. The DLA maintains an approved list of qualified suppliers to supply directly to the DOD-DLA the two most counterfeited items in the supply chain of electronic components, FSC code 5961(Semiconductors) & 5962 (Micro Circuits). This audit has concluded that Stock-Points QMS and in house inspection methods are compliant to the standards put for by the DLA and compliant to the AS6081 standard. Stock-Point has an in house lab with state of art equipment developed to mitigate the risk of counterfeit electronic components entering the supply chain.  Processes include physical destruction for verification of all die markings, non-destructive analysis for x-ray of all internal bind wires and anomalies, chemical testing for detection of all black topping and/or sanding with remarking.  Full detailed reports are supplied with each shipment.
