By: Lanier Islands The BattleFrog course is a total test for people of all fitness levels from ages 13 and up. The approximate 8K course will take participants through 22+ military-inspired obstacles that will be sure to test them - body, mind and spirit. Volunteers and race officials are throughout the course to motivate participants through the obstacles, urging them to give it their all. A partial schedule for the BattleFrog Obstacle Race portion of the day includes: 6:00 a.m. Race Registration Opens 8:15 a.m. National Anthem 8:30 a.m. 8K waves every 30 min 9:45 a.m. Fitness Challenge #1 11:15 a.m. Old Glory Ceremony 12 p.m. TadPole Dash 12:15 p.m. Fitness Challenge #2 12:30 p.m. Bullfrog Mile 1:00 p.m. Elite Awards Ceremony at Big Beach 5:00 pm BFX Awards Ceremony at Big Beach From 11 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., guests at Big Beach and Sunset Cove will be treated to games like Knocker Ball, Corn Hole and Volleyball. Pint-sized patrons can partake of the bounce houses on Big Beach, as well as chances to snap a selfie with LanierWorld mascot, Bucky the Beaver. After the race, participants will want to trade their running shoes for dancing shoes and stick around. From 3 to 7 p.m., high energy, modern country music band – 8 Second Ride – takes the stage at Big Beach, and from 7 to 11 p.m. the DJ fires up the Rock 100 party at Sunset Cove.
