San Diego Business Journal Honor's MRC's Bob Leone as Most Admired CEO

SAN DIEGO - Feb. 25, 2016 - PRLog -- Bob Leone, President of MRC, Smart Technology Solutions, was honored as the Most Admired CEO in the Medium Public Company category, by the San Diego Business Journal on Thursday, February 18^th.  This is Mr. Leone’s 5^th win as a “Most Admired CEO” by the San Diego Business Journal.

Mr. Leone, who founded MRC in 1994, was recognized not only for his leadership, but for his contributions to the company’s success and expansion. However, Leone’s leadership is not limited to just that of his company and the financials. His commitment to building an environment that fosters growth and development for his employees remains at the forefront of the company culture at MRC. Leone strongly believes that a company’s greatest asset is not the products that it sells, or the services it provides, but is in fact its people. This focus, aligned with the company vision, is what has helped propel MRC into the world class technology solutions business it is today.

Leone is also a great advocate for community service/involvement and seizes every opportunity to make a community impact, as well as strongly encourages those within his company to give back. Through the MRC Technology Makeover, established in 2014, the company has awarded $35,000 worth of technology to non-profits in San Diego, and is excited to be continuing this annual tradition in 2016. His passion and leadership also extends beyond that of his company. Leone’s dedication to help the San Diego homeless get off the streets is continually displayed through his involvement with Father Joe’s Villages, as a member of the Board of Directors, and the Alpha Project.
