MRC Smart Technology Solutions Designated as a Top Workplace Excellence Winner Finalist

SAN DIEGO - Nov. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- The Top Workplaces are determined based solely on employee feedback that is emailed out and conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement. WorkplaceDynamics conducts regional Top Workplaces programs with 40 major publishing partners across the United States. Over the past year, more than 5,000 organizations and 1 in every 88 employees in the U.S. have turned to WorkplaceDynamics to better understand what’s on the minds of their employees. Through its workplace improvement offerings, WorkplaceDynamics provides solutions, training and tools to help clients improve their workplace. MRC had 72 San Diego based employee responses to the survey. Using the surveys the company's "score" is determined.

Top Workplaces is an evaluation of regional companies by their employees. Workplace Excellence Awards is an evaluation of regional company HR practices that contributed to the proper execution or implementation of a strategic business strategy resulting in a positive bottom line impact. Results were judged by a 3^rd party non-biased panel of HR experts.

Awards were presented in the small, medium, and large company categories with an overall grand award for which all sizes of business entrants are eligible. Each organization that is nominated is asked to substantiate the nomination by completing an in-depth application that is available through the San Diego SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management) website. All applications are prescreened before going to the judging panel to ensure minimal compliance with the information requested in the application.

The event took place last night, Thursday, November 7^th at the Hilton, La Jolla Torrey Pines from 4:00pm – 7:00pm.
