New York Times Bestselling Author Lauren Dane Inks Twin Deals with Harlequin

TORONTO - Feb. 23, 2016 - PRLog -- Today Harlequin, one of the world’s leading publishers of books for women, announced the signing of New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Lauren Dane to a pair of multi-book deals with two of its imprints—HQN Books and Carina Press.

Dane will pen three books in a new contemporary romance series for HQN Books. The Whiskey Sharp series will explore the world of a Seattle barbershop housed in a former distillery with as wild a history as the men who work there. The first title in the series will be published in spring 2017. Dane will also see the first two titles in her Cherchez Wolf Pack series published by Carina Press, Harlequin’s digital-first imprint. Wolf’s Ascension and Sworn to the Wolf, both originally published in 2007, have been refreshed and will be available from Carina Press in February and March of 2016, respectively.

The deal was negotiated by Carina Press Editorial Director, Angela James, and Lauren Bradford of Bradford Literary Agency. James will edit the titles across both imprints. Harlequin acquired world and audio rights in both deals.

Lauren Dane is a New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author of more than 60 books. She writes across many genres, including contemporary fiction, paranormal, sci-fi/fantasy, romance, erotic romance and urban fantasy.
