Jerry C. Alexander has been sworn in as the 107th President of the Dallas Bar Association

DALLAS - Feb. 16, 2016 - PRLog -- Jerry C. Alexander, President and Shareholder of Passman & Jones, has been sworn in as the 107^th President of the Dallas Bar Association, a voluntary organization comprised of more than 11,000 lawyers.  A member since 1972, Jerry has been actively involved with the Dallas Bar Association on a committee level since 1993, as Chair of numerous DBA Committees including the Finance Committee, Judiciary Committee, Senior Lawyers Committee and the Judicial Polls Study Committee. In addition, he was Co-Chair of the 2010-2011 Campaign for Equal Access to Justice and has served on the Board of Directors since 2007.

Jerry headed the Dallas Bar Association drafting project for the Local Rules of Practice in the Civil District and County Courts at Law Courts for Dallas County, Texas, which are presently in use.  He has also served on the Law Focused Education Committee of the State Bar of Texas and is a member of the American Bar Association.  He is also listed as a “Texas Super Lawyer” by Texas Monthly Magazine since 2007.

A graduate of Southern Methodist University School of Law, and a former aide to Congressman Earl Cabell, United Congressman from Texas' Fifth District, Jerry practice focus is in the areas of antitrust, business torts, patents, trade secrets, unfair competition, and labor-related business issues.  He has also been involved in major litigation pertaining to officer, director, and professional liability.  He also practices before federal agencies including the FTC & FAA.
