Brunson releases Magnetic V-Block to enhance Sawmill Alignment Kit

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Feb. 15, 2016 - PRLog -- Brunson Instrument Company continues to provide effective solutions for precision sawmill alignments with the introduction of a new target accessory, the model 567 magnetic v-block scale holder. Designed to measure smooth, knurled and spike rolls, the 567 features high energy Neodymium magnets that positively grip ferrous rollers for convenient, hands-free operation.

A magnetic v-base mounts securely against rolls having diameters of 4.5″ (11.2 cm) to 13.5” (34.2 cm) for easy measurements on horizontally and vertically mounted rolls. A magnetic scale holder seats in the circular recess of the v-base, allowing scales to slide through to contact the roll surface below.

Machined surfaces can be measured with the removable scale holder that employs Neodymium magnets to keep it positioned firmly against any ferrous material, regardless of surface orientation.
