The Aquitaine Group Brings Romance to the Forefront

Aquitaine Bar á Vin Bistrot
A Parisian bistro nestled in Boston’s South End neighborhood, Aquitaine fully envelops what a date night should be.  Romantic yet bustling with energy, this Boston staple offers French cuisine that stands the test of time. On Valentine’s Day, enjoy a la carte specials prepared by Chef de Cuisine Chris Robins from 5:00PM to 10:00PM including Mushroom Vol au Vent ($13.95) shaved porcinis, and truffled porcini crème along with a main course of Coquilles St. Jacques ($34.95) with black trumpet mushroom risotto, and gruyere vermouth crème. Metropolis
This Mediterranean café is The Aquitaine Group’s premier location, and with over 20 years’ experience, this restaurant will give guests memories to last a lifetime. With its intimate and charming atmosphere, this hidden gem is the quintessential spot to toast to love. Chef de Cuisine Dolly Bourommavong will bring love to life with a menu that includes Lobster Bisque ($14.95) poached lobster, tarragon crème fraiche and caviar, as well Harissa Spiced Lamb Chop ($33.95) with roasted grape and cipollini agrodolce, fregola sarda and braised treviso. Cinquecento
Step onto the beautifully lit streets of Rome at Cinquecento, a Roman trattoria with Executive Chef Justin Winters at the helm. On Valentine’s Day, guests will enjoy a la carte selections such asTartara Piedmontese ($16.50) hand diced sirloin, truffle marmellata, whipped lardo and funghi sott’olio. The main course will boast flavorful dishes such as Capesate e Barbeatole ($33.50) with roasted scallops, red beet puree, crispy rice and blood orange. Gaslight Brasserie
Located steps away from Cinquecento, Gaslight is the classic romantic brasserie.  With its hand crafted Parisian zinc bar, reclaimed wood floors, mosaic tiles, beamed wood ceilings, nicotine stained walls and antique mirrors, Gaslight’s decor is what makes this the perfect location for a couple to stop time and savor the moment. La Motta’s Italian Specialties
La Motta’s is the Aquitaine Group’s neighborhood restaurant and pays homage to Italian-American restaurants of the mid-20th century, elevated for the tastes of this century but still genuine, satisfying and generously wholesome. Wine and dine a loved one, or take friends to the head table and celebrate being single! Executive Chef Justin Winters presents an impressive menu that includesLamb Osso Buco ($28.75) braised lamb shank, roasted parsnips, lentil ragu and gremolata, as well as a dessert selection of Cannoli ($8.25) sweet whipped ricotta, candied citrus and dark chocolate, and Figs and Zabaglione ($8.25) with caramelized fresh figs and marsala zabaglione. Both sister restaurants to the original Aquitaine Bar á Vin Bistrot, these dining destinations offer special three coarse options on Valentine’s Day that include Spanish Octopus ($15.95) with roasted cauliflower, saffron vinaigrette and cilantro pistou and New Zealand Lamb Rack($40.95) with pistachio puree, cumin roasted figs baby carrots and blood orange gastrique at theChestnut Hill location, prepared by Chef de Cuisine RJ Conlin.  Dedham’s Chef de Cuisine, Josh Clark, will feature Lobster Agnolotti ($16.95) with confit tomato cream and Spanish sherry, as well as Roasted Quail ($31.95) with herbed couscous, crisp baby eggplant and sauce Marbella.  Both locations will be open from 4:00PM to 10:00PM both Saturday and Sunday, and brunch 10:00AM – 4:00PM. Gaslight Lynnfield
The Aquitaine Group has brought the American counterpart of their French original to the North Shore Market Street Lynnfield.
