PHOENIX - Feb. 1, 2016 - PRLog -- Shade Projects is proud to present The Passenger, the solo photography exhibition of Wayne Rainey in Bokeh Gallery. This exhibition showcases Rainey’s latest body of work exploring the idea of myth and retelling the oldest stories.  Rainey takes on the role of the silent watcher, illustrating his own stories set in modern times in an exciting urban landscape. Reinventing the base stories of original fairytales through captivating vignettes, Rainey hopes that the viewer will create their own stories when viewing his work.

Rainey has an understanding and appreciation for observing people and places, which he brilliantly translates into purely stunning imagery. Rainey is a seasoned artist who has traveled the world capturing incredible imagery through both photography and film. His experiences have greatly impacted and shaped his artwork, giving him a profound perspective and unique vision that is apparent throughout his imagery.

Rainey has exhibited his artwork at several major galleries throughout the nation, as well as having his artwork featured in numerous publications both online and in print including ArtNews, Art in America, and Photo District News. His work has been recognized throughout the world with numerous awards and accolades including the Addy Awards, an Award of Excellence from Communication Arts, and recent accolades in Photo District News and the Alternative Pick.
