Laney Smith has enjoyed writing her entire life.  She had her first poem published in 1994.  Since then, she has written multiple stories for local newspapers.  She is the proud mother of two wonderful young men and has two younger brothers. Through the encouragement of friends and family, Laney has now decided to pursue her hobby on a more serious level.  In July, 2014, Laney Smith published her first novel, Lock Creek: One Year's Time. Since that time, she has added three additional books to the Lock Creekk: Time Capsule Series. In October, 2014, she published her first stand-alone horror novel, Threshold. She has also been featured in two anthologies, Tenants of Building Thirty-Eight (First Edition) which helped raise funds for The American Cancer Society, and The Roses which is to raise funds for The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Excited about exploring other genres, "What He's Done" will be her first psychological thriller.
