Millions of users prefer to surf anonymously by hiding their IP address with proxy server. Thus, using a web proxy is the simplest and easiest way to keep their browsing activities hidden. However, there are a number of people purposely commit illegal activities using a proxy.  So, how can you tell if an IP address that visits your website is from a proxy? The IP2Proxy Web Service could tell.

IP2Proxy Web Service provides instant proxy checking to identify high risk IP address. These IP addresses will be analysed and IP2Proxy will return a response code of 200. Other than that, IP2Proxy will also returns the lookup country code and country name if successful or error code if failed.

Each API unit subscription allows 10,000 query credits. If users need more credits, users can always add multiple units during checkout. A unique API key will be provided to query the web service.

IP2Proxy Web API uses a single web interface to perform the lookup logic. The protocol used is HTTP GET. Users can test this API as easy as using a web browser.
