The Naples Players To Hold Auditions for The Dixie Swim Club

NAPLES, Fla. - Jan. 18, 2016 - PRLog -- NAPLES, FL- The Naples Players will hold auditions (http://naplesplayers.org/auditions.html) for the comedyThe Dixie Swim Club beginning at 2:00 pmon Saturday, February 6 at Sugden Community Theatre, 701 5^th Avenue South, Naples. Five women that are able to play an age range of 40 – 80 are needed. No appointments are necessary.

Enduring friendships are at the heart of this endearing and witty comedy where five different women who met on their college swim team reconnect every year to laugh, reminisce and meddle in each other’s lives. All women have very distinct personalities.  There is the hyper organized, control freak, the wise-cracking cynic, the youth obsessed southern belle, the positive, perky but naïve ray of sunshine and the down-on-her-luck, self-deprecating sarcastic.  Think Steel Magnolias meets The Golden Girls.

Rehearsals begin March 7. Performance dates are April 20 - May 15. Perusal scripts are available at the box office with a $20 deposit. The box office is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  For more information, call 239-434-7340, ext. 10.
