The Massachusetts Restaurant Association Teams Ups With Local Experts for a Panel Discussion on Craft Beer and the Restaurant Industry

MELROSE, Mass. - Jan. 14, 2016 - PRLog -- WHAT:          It’s no shock that the craft beer trend is here to stay. Consumers appreciate the care and time that goes into each batch just as much as the personality and unique flavors that each independent brewery creates. On Wednesday, February 3, 2016 the Massachusetts Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (MRAEF) is joining Night Shift Brewing in Everett, MA to host “Crafting a Winner: Revitalize Your Menu with Craft Beer,” a special event where restaurant industry personnel can learn from craft experts about how to use this trend to amp up their menus, increase sales and improve customer experience.

         Kerry Byrne, Boston Herald food and beverage writer, will kick off the afternoon at 4:00PM with an overview of the craft brew industry and the basics of beer, including how to taste it and the differences between the different types. Afterwards, Kerry will be joined by Megan Parker-Gray, beer director of Row 34, Dan O’Donnell, director of sales and marketing for Revolution Beverage Group, and Asa Waters, Night Shift Brewing’s very own sales manager for a panel discussion on the trend. The experts will cover everything that’s in it for restaurants-- from how to improve their bottom line by learning the price points of beer to the best ways to sell it.

Following the panel, guests can mingle with the best in the industry during the Craft Beer Social. Burgers and fries are included in the ticket price and will be provided by Bonetown Burgers, and a cash bar will be available.

         “Crafting a Winner: Revitalize Your Menu with Craft Beer” is $20 per person for MRA members and $30 per person for non-members.
