7th Annual World Music & Independent Film Festival & Awards 2016 to Take Place on Carnival Pride

WASHINGTON - Jan. 13, 2016 - PRLog -- The World Music & Independent Film Festival  (WMIFF), presented by MJD Productions, LLC  in partnership with MyOneCruise.com, will host its 7th annual festival and awards ceremony on August 28 – September 4, 2016 on the Carnival Pride departing from Baltimore City with destinations to Florida and the Bahamas. For the first time in its history, WMIFF is excited to host the next WMIFF Awards 2016 at Sea on Carnival Cruise Lines.

WMIFF will be showcasing and screening music videos and independent films from around the world. Be a part of this history & set sail with us on this exciting adventure. In 2009, June Daguiso started working on the creation of World Music & Independent Film Festival. “My mission and objective was to create a platform not only for the DC, Maryland, and Virginia Indie filmmakers, but to also provide a platform of achievements for international cinema artists. We are dedicated to building a global film community and supporting emerging filmmakers.”

Since the early beginnings, WMIFF has continued promoting filmmakers and musicians to a global audience till the present. “WMIFF is still accepting film submission for award consideration until the February 28, 2016 deadline”, said June Daguiso - the Festival Director.
