Mahendra College of Engineering in association with Anna University,Chennai,organises Training

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Mahendra College of Engineering organised “EC 6201-Electronic Devices” – a faculty training programme at its campus recently.
 
Jan. 4, 2016 - PRLog -- The Faculty Development Training Programme (FDTP) – “EC 6201-Electronic Devices” organised recently at the Mahendra College of Engineering campus saw active participation from many regional engineering institutions. Organised by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in association with the Anna University, Chennai, “EC 6201-Electronic Devices” focused on creating greater awareness about the new ground-breaking technologies and innovations in the field of Electronics.

With experts from multiple colleges conducting the training, the sessions enabled the participating faculty to delve deeper into the uses of electronics in everyday life. The programme also focused on helping faculty members to better understand their role in imparting transformational educational experiences for their students.

The 3-day training sessions hosted at the Mahendra College of Engineering campus saw participation from 27 neighbouring engineering institutions. Covering a vast range of topics related to Electronic Devices, the programme also included lab sessions for practical study and concluded with the participating faculty presenting their papers for discussion.

“EC 6201-Electronic Devices” provided faculty members a platform to understand and extend their knowledge of key innovations in the Electronic Devices industry. Moreover, the 3-day programme enabled faculty members to network with peers from other engineering institutions and also facilitated an open discourse on teaching methodologies and the latest inventions.

As an educational institution, the Mahendra College of Engineering has continued to lay emphasis on the need to provide an outstanding educational experience for its students. The college conducts regular workshops for its students and its faculty members to enable greater dissemination of knowledge among the student and teaching community. And the recently concluded “EC 6201-Electronic Devices Training Programme” ensured that faculty members from many institutions in the neighbouring districts were provided with the opportunity to interact with their peers and also stay informed of the most recent innovations in their field of study and instruction.
