NEW ORLEANS - Dec. 29, 2015 - PRLog -- While other teens were sleeping in or opening gifts with family on Christmas morning, 12 year old Lexi Faith Turner and her family were up wrapping gifts to deliver to the homeless population of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Lexi Faith Turner, also known as "Rockin Kid Chef" is a native of New Orleans and is the 2016 Miss Black Louisiana USA Junior Teen title holder.

Lexi Faith delivered gifts to over 75 homeless persons under the Claiborne Avenue bridge on Christmas morning putting smiles on the faces of those in receipt. The idea was sparked when Lexi Faith asked her Mother, "Who buys the homeless gifts for Christmas?"  Her family decided to take all of the funds they would have used to purchase and exchange gifts for one another and purchase gifts for those that were more in need.

Lexi Faith is no stranger to serving her community as she has actively been serving since she was 8 years old participating in serveral service events such as Home Mission - Feed the Hungry, Tori Turner's D.R.E.A.M. BIG Foundation's Skate 4 A Cause, Youthanasia Foundation service learning events and many more.
