The Naples Players To Hold Auditions for A Sleeping Country

NAPLES, Fla. - Dec. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- NAPLES, FL- The Naples Players will hold auditions (http://naplesplayers.org/auditions.html) for the comedyA Sleeping Country beginning at 2:00 pmon Saturday, January 16 at Sugden Community Theatre, 701 5^th Avenue South, Naples. No appointments are necessary.

Three women are needed for this production; two women, ages 25-35 (one actress will play multiple characters), and one age 50+. One man is needed; age 25-40, who will play multiple characters.

Julia is plagued by insomnia and her psychiatrist Dr. Midge a manic woman who also happens to be Julia's best friend from childhood, is stumped for a meaningful diagnosis. When she discovers that it could be a very rare and even fatal prognosis Julia travels to Venice to meet the eccentric Countess Isabella Orsini who she hopes will provide some answers. What she learns on her journey awakens her to more than she ever expected to discover.

  Rehearsals begin February 8. Performance dates are March 23 - April 16. Perusal scripts are available at the box office with a $20 deposit.
