BA Insight Expands Office 365 Solutions with Support of Microsoft Graph

Adds connectivity, classification, and applications to cloud-based portals

BOSTON - Dec. 10, 2015 - PRLog -- BA Insight announced support for the recently unveiled Microsoft Graph, extending O365 to connect users with the information they need, independent of where that content resides. Our out of the box software integrates information from line-of-business and enterprise systems into Office 365 experiences, leveraging the Microsoft Graph to make this information available across applications and devices.

The Microsoft Graph opens multiple APIs from the Microsoft intelligent cloud through a single REST API endpoint, creating new opportunities for developers and making development dramatically simpler for enterprises.  With BA Insight’s support of the Microsoft Graph, developers can now access content from outside O365 via the Microsoft Graph, apply consistent metadata, and leverage BA Insight’s packaged applications as components in sophisticated solutions.

“We are delighted to be a launch partner for such a strategic Microsoft initiative” said Massood Zarrabian, CEO of BA Insight.  “We enable our joint customers to embrace the cloud while keeping connected to all of their systems and content wherever it lives.   This content is now accessible via the Microsoft Graph and will enable a host of new solutions.”

Support for the Microsoft Graph includes:

-        Connectivity - integrating over 50 systems including EMC Documentum, OpenText LiveLink, IBM Filenet, Box, Jive, Salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, IBM Connections, and many more

-        Classification – creation of consistent metadata across O365, SharePoint on premise and external systems, dramatically improving findability and driving workflow and compliance

-        Applications – such as Expertise Location, Smart Previews, and User-Generated InfoSites

-        Analytics to enable capturing information about usage and content to help improve user’s experience

BA Insight was a launch partner for the initial unveiling of the APIs (at TechEd Europe in October 2014), a launch partner for the Microsoft Graph at the Connect() conference in November 2015, and is highlighted in a Microsoft case study.

“BA Insight has been a strong partner of Microsoft for many years, and has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to build world-class products,” said Rob Lefferts, General Manager, Extensibility at Microsoft. “Using BA Insight along with Microsoft Graph, companies can take advantage of our cloud experiences for all their content, and extend Office 365 with external content, consistent structure, and pre-built applications.  This will result in massive productivity gains for our joint customers as well as new possibilities for our developer community.”
