How to create an Interactive Online Blog

JOHANNESBURG - Nov. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Blog posts provide you with a platform for posting your thoughts and opinions on various topics that are structured in chronological order (The most recent post appears first) . Readers of your blog can engage with you by posting comments in the form of a discussion. Blogs are different to static web pages and are mainly used as a tool to express an opinion on some topic or to entice a discussion. In this blog post, we will show you how to create a blog home page (page that displays all blog posts from your website) with our hosted website platform.

Our wordpress website designer allows beginners to quickly create basic or advanced websites with a drag and drop page builder.

Lets get started. The first thing you need to do is search for the page named "Latest Blog News" in the "Pages" administration menu. Once you have located this page, click the "Builder" icon to launch the visual designer. Now move over to the content template area, and drag and drop a T-Blog component onto the page (You can also use a Posts List component). This component displays all the posts that you create in the WordPress "Posts" section. Each time you create a new post, this component will display a list of posts with the most recent post at the top.

We timed ourselves to see just how long it would take to create a new blog home page. This included: Creating a new blog home page, creating a heading, dropping a blog component onto the page and styling the blog component so that it displays the featured image of each blog post. We took 8 minutes and twenty three seconds to lay down this basic blog setup  Please note that we did not include the time it would take to write a blog post.
