Lawsuit Filed Against Kennedy Fried Chicken for Unpaid Overtime

NEW YORK - Nov. 3, 2015 - PRLog -- On October 28, 2015, a Collective Action complaint was filed in the Southern District of New York against Brooklyn fast food restaurant Kennedy Fried Chicken for its alleged failure to pay overtime and minimum wage compensation to its past and present employees in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act and New York Labor Law. The complaint seeks unpaid wages, liquidated damages and attorneys' fees for the affected individuals.

According to the plaintiff, he worked, on average, 50-60 hours per week but did not receive overtime pay.The lawsuit also accuses the restaurant of failing to maintain proper payroll records as required by law.
