By: The Chocolate Truffle Craig became increasingly dissatisfied with the mass produced confections that have lost their handmade roots and left his family’s business in pursuit of his passion to create sweets from a by gone era. The goal of purchasing The Chocolate Truffle was to get back to basics; making candy using high quality, fresh ingredients, handcrafted in small batches. “I wanted a candy store where I could bring back the art of candy making and offer Fudge, Hard Candies, Brittles and Toffees. The Chocolate Truffle is the perfect candy shop because it is a small Main Street with a devoted following for their Signature Truffles and Hand Dipped Chocolates. Being able to talk with our customers and share samples of the candies being made today is what we want to offer,“ said Craig. Wife Jennifer adds, “We are bringing back a new kind of old fashioned; preserving the past while moving toward the future making sweets for candy lovers of all ages. Sample our products and you’ll taste the way candy should taste.” Craig and Jennifer Burkinshaw will host a Grand Reopening on Saturday November 14 from 10am-5pm End
