Presented by Spalding King of the Beach

The Reflekt Polarized Big Shot Volleyball Series, presented by Rider Sandals, will end the 2015 season in Florida during the last two weeks of October. Teams from throughout the East Coast will compete at the 2015 Volley America Nationals in Clearwater Beach, FL. Local Florida teams will be participating in the October 17-18 event at Siesta Key Beach to warm up for Natinoals.  All events are sanctioned by Volley America.

Top male and female doubles teams have been competing for over $75,000 cash prizes during the 2015 season including over $10,000 at the Volley America Nationals. Tournament play will start at 9 am with women’s finals scheduled for 4 pm Saturday and men’s finals at 12 noon on Sunday. Admission is free for all spectators.

10/17-18 - Siesta Key, FL

10/24-25 – Clearwater Beach, FL

The Big Shot Volleyball Series holds 35 events leading to the October 24-25 $10,000 Volley America National Championships in Clearwater Beach.

Top players in the Reflekt Polarized Big Shot Series include top Orlando player Piotr Marciniak and Skyler McCoy of Long Beach, CA.  Florida locals, Peter Doubravsky of Babson Park and Martin Caban from Lake Wales are currently ranked as the 2^nd seed and will be competing for the top spot in the Men’s Open division.  Many of the tour players have Pro Beach Volleyball Tour experience. The defending Olympic Gold Medalist Phil Dalhausser played on the Big Shot Tour before advancing to the Pro Tour and the Olympics.  Top women’s players include Clearwater pro player Tara Kuk and Orlando’s Karolina Sowala.

Separate divisions will be held for players of intermediate and novice levels on Saturday and Sunday. The $60 entry fee entitles players to a full day of tournament play, an official Reflekt Polarized Big Shot Volleyball t-shirt, and a chance to win merchandise prizes from tournament sponsors 4C Totally Light 2Go, Spalding, Rider Sandals, Reflekt Polarized, Sand Socks by Vincere, Bally’s Casino, Hytail Ponytail hat, Sports Authority, SOB Volleyball Vacations, Park & Sun net systems, Dig Magazine, Sportime, Horry County, Spike Key, Volley America, and South Shore Outdoors.The public can met the players every Saturday evening at the official Player’s Party at the Boatyard Waterfront Bar & Grill.
