Intellectual Property Attorney Alan Haus Joins Royse Law Firm Team

PALO ALTO, Calif. - Oct. 6, 2015 - PRLog -- “We are pleased to announce that Intellectual Property Attorney Alan Haus has joined the team,” said Roger Royse, founder of Royse Law Firm. “Alan is a seasoned attorney with a vibrant practice in intellectual property protection, licensing and commercial transactions, and employment issues relating to ownership of intellectual property.” Mr. Haus will practice in Royse Law Firm’s Palo Alto and San Francisco offices, where he will join the firm’s Intellectual Property, International, and Technology Transactions practice groups. “Royse Law Firm is a cutting-edge, 21st century firm,” said Alan Haus. “I am delighted to join a firm that is tech savvy, has a great culture, and is environmentally conscientious.”

Mr. Haus is an international speaker as well as a dual citizen of the U.S. and the European Union, and he has substantial experience in cross-border intellectual property and other transactions. His client base includes consumer product, e-commerce, software, and entertainment companies. Mr. Haus is a member of the International Technology Law Association (iTechLaw) and the Video Game Bar Association, and he is the former chair of the Trademark Committee of the California State Bar’s Intellectual Property Section. He is an adjunct faculty member of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where he teaches entertainment law, finance, and strategic business planning.

Prior to joining Royse Law Firm, Mr. Haus was a partner in other prominent San Francisco law firms and served as outside general counsel to clients ranging from startups to multinational corporations. He received his bachelor of arts degree in English from Wesleyan University; his M.B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley, Haas School of Business; and his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he was a member of the Hastings Law Journal.
