Royse Law Firm to be Honored at the 2015 Innovators Awards

PALO ALTO, Calif. - Nov. 3, 2015 - PRLog -- “Royse Law Firm will be honored by The Recorder at an ALM Recognition Event, the Innovators Awards, for its development of the RoyseLaw Legal Incubator,” said Roger Royse, founder of the Royse Law Firm. The firm will be recognized on December 8 at The City Club in San Francisco at an Honoree Awards Program recognizing firms and individuals that are changing the way the legal profession addresses emerging challenges in the legal industry. “The RoyseLaw Legal Incubator has been selected for this honor because of its innovative approach to solving challenges faced by legal clients, providers and the public,” added Mr. Royse. The firm was also honored with an Innovators Award in 2014 for the Royse Law Legal Wizard, an online document system.

The RoyseLaw Legal Incubator was launched in September of this year. According to Mr. Royse, the Incubator is “a platform that helps new law graduates launch their practices with the assistance of seasoned attorneys — it bridges the gap between new lawyers and the public.” The Incubator, which is located at 1717 Embarcadero Road in Palo Alto, California, provides legal services to underserved segments of the legal market such as startups and the elderly. The Incubator’s program is supported by the Royse Law Firm, which provides resources, mentoring, and financial support.

The Incubator’s startup practice provides legal services such as corporate, securities, intellectual property, and employment law for healthy food, agriculture and sustainability companies. The Incubator’s estate planning practice assists low-income individuals with protecting their assets and ensuring property disbursements are in accordance with their wishes. Services include wills, trusts and estates, tax controversy issues, and elder care law. According to Royse, the Incubator plans to roll out additional services to the community in 2016.
