Christopher Columbus History is a Monumental Fraud, Says Researcher
Columbus Day holiday nears and millions of school children will be told the story of Christopher Columbus as a fearless Italian explorer who discovered America. According to one researcher, what they do not know is that they are being fed a huge lie.
By: Association Cristóvão Colon
Internationally renowned and award-winning researcher, Manuel Rosa, author of the book, “The Columbus Mystery Revealed,” (Lisbon, 2006) will divulge many secrets about the life of Columbus during his October 8th and 9th lectures in Connecticut and New Jersey.
The evidence presented in his new book "COLUMBUS. The Untold story," is a paradigm changer that is bound to force a rewrite of history because the man we call Christopher Columbus was actually named Cristóbal Colón. An Italian publication printed in Rome, April 1493, is responsible for modifying the explorer’s name to “Columbo” and spreading that wrong name worldwide. A falsified Last Will, known as the Mayrozago, presented by a Genoese pretender in a lawsuit, is still used today to sustain the Genoese fairy tale. However, this forged Last Will was rejected for being “as worthless as a blank piece of paper” by the Spanish tribunal in the early 1600s.
Since the explorer and his two brothers never wrote a single letter in Italian to anyone and wrote Spanish with frequent Portuguese words intermixed, Rosa argues the Colón brothers were born in Portugal.
Italians will not be happy that the long-accepted story of Christopher Columbus being a Genoese peasant is now shown not to be accurate but Rosa insists that the evidence confirms Columbus was born in Portugal and hailed from Polish royalty.
But that’s not all; Rosa claims the 1492 voyage was a ruse by Portugal against Spain. During this secret mission, Columbus dragged the ship Santa Maria onto the Haitian beach, shot it with a cannon to render it unseaworthy in order to maroon Queen Isabel’s overseers, and lied to Spain about the ship sinking because his real employer was John II, King of Portugal.
These and many other facts caused James T. McDonough, Jr., Ph.D. Professor at St. Joseph’s University to exclaim, "Another nutty conspiracy theory! That’s what I first supposed. I now believe that Christopher Columbus is guilty of a huge fraud carried out over two decades."
The lecture “New Evidence Shows Columbus Was Not Italian But Polish” will be held at the main campus of Quinnipiac University, at the Carl Hansen Student Center: Room 225, on October 8th, 2015 at 12:00 pm. Quinnipiac University is located at 275 Mt Carmel Ave, Hamden, CT 06518.
Another lecture will be held on October 9, 2015 at 6:30pm at NOWY DZIENNIK (Polish Daily News). The Polish Daily News is located at 70 Outwater Lane, STE 401, Garfield, NJ 07026.
Lectures are free and open to the public, so come learn things about “Christopher Columbus” that the textbooks never mentioned!
Manuel Rosa, a Luso-American historian born in Pico Island, Azores, has dedicated his life to discovering the truth about this so-called hero explorer. In 1991 Mr. Rosa began a scientific investigation of the life of Christopher Columbus and was the only Portuguese historian involved with DNA studies of Columbus’ bones at the University of Granada in Spain.
His latest book, “COLÓN. La historia nunca contada” (COLUMBUS. The Untold story), has been published in several European countries and seeks US publication.
