TregoED Announces Strategic Leadership Award Winners
Three public school districts receive inaugural Benjamin B. Tregoe Award for Strategic Leadership in Education

· Newton Conover City Schools (NC)
· Sewanhaka Central High School District (NY)
The award recognizes school districts, individuals or teams that have achieved significant and enduring results using TregoED tools for collaborative problem-solving and decision-making. Winning entries have been able to demonstrate successful resolution of a critical issue or problem and operational or systemic changes that have had lasting value.
Colorado Springs School District 11 received the award for its innovative use of root cause analysis in determining significant drivers of student achievement at the school level.
Newton-Conover City Schools is being recognized for its use of collaborative decision-making in making a critical hiring decision.
Sewanhaka Central High School District used collaborative decision-making on a systemic level in determining budget allocations and preparing for a successful bond referendum.
