PLANO, Texas - Sept. 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Dark Hour Haunted House’s “witching hour” will begin Friday, Sept. 25 and continue through Nov. 1. This indoor psychological thriller, set in 30,000 square feet, utilizes the science of scare by tapping into what we fear most.

“There is a science behind what scares us and what doesn’t,” says Dark Hour’s world-renowned Artistic Director Allen Hopps. “Our production team utilizes world-class animatronics, multiple DMX LED lighting and sound boards, along with motion sensors to create a unique experience for each haunt,” says Hopps.

Visitors will begin their journey at the cemetery and continue through the Coven Manor, into the Voodoo Swamps, as they draw deeper and deeper into the story, providing a truly unforgettable night of fright. For the souls who dare to enter the witches’ realm, the terror builds to a crescendo with the sights, sounds and smells of the coven, which are carefully orchestrated for each performance.

Want to be part of the coven? Vidua Writhe, leader of the coven, has saved you place of honor in her witches’ den of fear. VIPs can conduct a variety of haunts within Vidua’s house of horrors with the push of a button and watch their victims squirm and scream via live feed.

Ticket prices range from $26 for general admission to $65 for VIP access, which includes "Fast Pass" admission, an official Dark Hour t-shirt, access to the VIP suite for a special screening of "The Making of Dark Hour" and a second trip through the haunt. Tickets may be purchased in advance at http://darkhourhauntedhouse.com/ or from the on-site box office.
