Carrier One Supports US Veterans

CHICAGO - Aug. 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Community Volunteers and Donations Support 6^th Annual Veterans Appreciation Weekend in Horicon Marsh

On October 22-24, 2015 Horicon Marsh Wounded Warriors, Inc. will be hosting its 6^th annual veterans appreciation weekend at property owned by event co-founders Ryan and Kari Voy in Horicon Marsh. The event has grown each year since it started as an idea of Ryan Voy of Horicon and Chuck Dodge of Allenton in 2010.

As the event grows to serve more veterans, it relies on donations and volunteers to be able to provide a fun and relaxing weekend of duck hunting for veterans. This year, 42 volunteer guides and over 20 staff volunteers are donating their time and skills to give this opportunity to 45 veterans.

Illinois-based flatbed transportation company Carrier One, Inc. has shown support of this event through a $750 donation. Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Tim Reyburn sees supporting this cause as a great opportunity to support American veterans.

Horicon Marsh Wounded Warriors, Inc. is still in need of donations to cover the cost of food, transportation, and hunting equipment for the veterans over the weekend. The event coordination committee is dedicated to putting all donations to the direct benefit of the veterans.  All contributions are tax deductible and greatly appreciated.
