Ronda Mitchell Works in the New Media Field of Audiblescripts

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Aug. 20, 2015 - PRLog -- There are many movies out there that have a wonderful plot and great characters but they never get made, many times due to budgeting issues or other problems, and the story dies on the cutting room floor without a chance at being seen. Now, all of that has changed with the introduction of Audiblescripts, these are movies that are acted out in the style of a 1940’s radio show, all of the players learn their parts, rehearse vigorously, and read them creating the stories that will enthrall and delight you. Audiblescripts has been producing many screenplays in audio format and has released them on Amazon, iTunes, and on Audible.com. This is a new media that will allow new screenwriters to be introduced to large audiences without having to worry about going through a large Hollywood production house. This is a completely new way to enjoy a movie, and the amount of genres continues to expand from paranormal, suspense, action, comedy, historical fiction and thrillers to name just a few genres. Audiblescripts is a refreshing and different take on the movie concept that will leave you thirsting for more.

Ronda has worked on several Audiblescript project including: The Debt Conspiracy, The River and One Last One. In The Debt Conspiracy, Ronda played Meilin who is the little sister of Chang, she is an addicted lady of the night, she works with the federal agents to assist them with the cracking of a murder. The River is a romance and Ronda plays Joanna, the best friend of the leading lady, she is an astute sophisticated friend. However, she is concerned about her friend, who is grieving over the loss of her son, and Joanna wants her to seek new love and new life. One Last One is a supernatural thriller of the battle of vampires and weres; Ronda plays the nurse who tends Terrance, a transitioning vagrant vampire.

According to Will Lewis, Founder of Audiblescripts “Ronda was cast in several projects that I produced for Audiblescripts: one of the things that impressed me the most was her keen ability to deliver engaging and down-to-earth reads for her characters’ lines. So much so that 2 or 3 takes of a scene with Ronda's characters  were usually all that was required for us to get what we were looking for in the production.  In addition, Ronda can do some pretty convincing accents. When I first heard her audition for a Chinese character for one of our productions, she stood out immediately as someone we wanted for a call back. I was even more impressed when I found out she'd never had any formal training for Asian accents.  I've been fortunate to have an opportunity to work with Ronda. I believe she will be successful in whatever voice over role she is cast in.”

Hailing from Fort Worth Texas, Ronda was born the daughter of an Air Force Sargent and a Southern Bell telephone operator. She was raised in Alachua, Florida in a small quiet southern town where manners are not forgotten. After graduating from high school, Ronda started to travel and see the southeast. She met her husband, an Ohio native, married him, and had two sons. Ronda returned home, she and her family settled into their farm in Oakey Woods. Ronda always had an artistic streak and enjoyed performing and singing. Ronda was introduced to the world of voice over when a colleague asked her about being a talent for a corporate eLearning video. Ronda loved the idea of being paid to talk for a living. Two years later as a professional voice over artist she continues to take on new and challenging projects.

Ronda was hired within 3 days of deciding on her new career for her first project. Ronda has trained with some of the best in the voice over industry: Rodney Saulsberry and Bill DeWees. Ronda was assisted in creating her initial demos by the legendary Marc Graue. Ronda’s voice is applicable to many genres and roles. Ronda loves commercials, narration, and character voice over work. She has worked with: Toyota, Benadryl, University of Florida, Audiblescripts, Rico-Brunner.com, The Trim Down Club, Fault Line Players, Dr. Mary E. Waters, Novartis, C.B. Isaac Realty and Yelp.
