A Massive African Dance Movement Gets Ready to Explode in Miami Beach

MIAMI - Aug. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- On August 19th to August 24th 2015, Cedgy Promotions, Inc. will host a dance, music & cultural festival, known as the “Miami Beach Kizomba Festival” or “MBKF” for short, featuring high caliber dance instructors, singers & speakers from around the world representing African culture from Angola & Cape Verde in Miami Beach. As part of this year’s celebration, we have an official festival song dedicated to us by the legendary singer Grace Evora and Ritinha Lobo called “Passa Sab”.

In our first year in 2014, we attracted over 500 guests to Miami Beach instantly becoming the largest Kizomba & Semba only festival in North, Central and South America. In our 2^nd year, which is also the centennial celebration of Miami Beach, our festival will attract over 800+ men & women from over 14 countries and 29 states, many of them first time visitors to Miami, who have previously experienced the dance and/or music of Kizomba.  We will have over 12 instructors from all over the world teachers various dances. As part of the festivities we will have Grace Evora and Loony Johnson with live bands performing for attendees.

Our purpose, our reason, our souls, our classes, our parties, our staff, our festival attendees, its our culture! It is a family. The goal and mission of the festival is simple: We aren’t sharing a product. We are sharing a culture. We are not trying to be the first.

We are not trying to self proclaim being the best. We want to be different and have our attendees be their best. We are just trying to give people an authentic experience embracing a different culture while having fun.
