The man behind the trademark application is Timur Naimat, owner of Job Seekers Club, with a company business address in New York.

The company provides a website using the domain name www.jobseekers.club which is rapidly growing into the world’s leading web-based job search engine and job board. It’s a popular and in-demand service that is designed to support the needs of job seekers globally.

However, the approval of the term Job Seekers Club as a trademark has left some people questioning the decision.

We spoke to Timur Naimat recently and asked him why the company decided to apply for a trademark for such a popular and frequently used phrase.

“We wanted to establish the brand and be clear about what it is we offer” Mr Naimat told us. “While I understand there are clubs operating that use the term (and may be unhappy with the trademark approval) – I believe we have done the right thing. Apart from the fact this is a legal step we have taken to secure the trademark – it’s also a step that will help to establish the brand and our website in the mind of potential job seekers. That can only be a good thing!”

With a growing need for global Job Search and an ever changing workplace – the Job Seekers Club website will have its work cut out to live up to its new found trademark.
