Flexible Jobs For College Students

TLC for Kids is hiring after school nannies. After school nanny jobs give college students the flexible schedule desired by students.

ST. LOUIS - Aug. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- TLC for Kids is looking to hire energetic, caring, and responsible caregivers to work as after school nannies for families in the greater St. Louis area.

TLC for Kids matches experienced nannies with St. Louis families.   All nannies go through a thorough interview and screening process before being shown to a potential family looking for an after school care.

After-school nannies typically work from 2pm-6pm or 3pm-6pm, Monday through Friday. This schedule allows college students to take classes and still have evenings free to work on homework, participate in sports or clubs, or meet with fellow students.

An after school nanny job duties include picking up the children from school, helping them with their homework, driving them to after-school activities/practices, doing light housework (dishes, laundry, picking up toys, etc.), and in some cases making dinner.

Being an after school nanny is a great opportunity for students going into careers that will work with children.  Amanda Vance, an after school nanny said, "As an after school nanny I helped school age kids with their homework.  I learned little tricks to help the kids stay focused and get the work done. I use some of those tricks now in my classroom"
