RALEIGH, N.C. - June 30, 2015 - PRLog -- June 30, 2015-Raleigh,NC. Veterans Entering Transition (https://www.myusvet.org), headquartered in Raleigh NC is proud to announce their fiscal sponsorship under Outside the Wire Group Foundation (https://www.otwgroup.org) headquartered in Henderson, NC. Through their combined missions, veterans and their family members will have access to all available resources to ease their personal and professional transition from military to civilian lives.

Veterans Entering Transition (V.E.T) a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization was founded in 2015 by Anne Showalter. V.E.T.’s vision is to ensure that those who have served our nation in uniform transition into successful business leaders in every sector of American life. The organization is committed to providing exiting military, veterans and their family members with resources and education in workforce readiness and entrepreneurship to achieve financial stability and a sense of purpose. This mission is accomplished through a network of community and business partnerships who are dedicated to creating a unique pathway for the successful transitioning of veterans. Showalter remarks about the partnership with Outside the Wire Group, “V.E.T. and Outside the Wire Group Foundation will serve each other’s missions and visions collaboratively. Aligning ourselves with allies who can fill in the gaps while keeping everything under one umbrella allows us to become a one stop resource for our veterans and families."

Outside the Wire Group Foundation (OTW) a register 501(c)(3) non-profit organization was founded in 2012 by Mike McMichael and Samuel Hargrove as an answer to the silent cry for help from our wounded warriors. Through advocacy, outreach, training and solutions consulting, they provide results that have an immediate and direct impact on the improvement on the healthcare and personal welfare of veteran heroes. OTW champions the state-wide veteran peer mentor, advocate and coach initiative, North Carolina Veteran 2 Veteran or NCV2V. McMichael comments that this is a boots on the ground outreach approach, Veteran to Veteran. OTW is joining forces with V.E.T. to help provide much needed Veteran transition resources to aid in answering their cry with evidence based solutions. "The intent of this collaboration is to provide a much needed personal navigator from crisis to the road to recovery."
