IRVING, Texas - June 25, 2015 - PRLog -- FluxLight Inc., a manufacturer of optical interconnect products, released two new infographics that offer an inside look at the scientific advancements made in the field of fiber optic technology. The new infographics illustrate the evolution of the technology that lies at the core of today’s ever-expanding fiber optic networks.

“We’ve seen an explosion of growth in fiber optic technology over the last decade or so,” said Tony Farinholt, President and Co-Founder of FluxLight, Inc. “The development of fiber optic technology, created a means of practical, low-cost communication, and communication demands are continuing to increase worldwide.”

With the booming growth in the demand for higher bandwidths, high-performance computing, on-demand video streaming, and faster web applications, current data communications are struggling to keep up. Fiber optics is the answer.

“Telecommunications and data communications providers are asking for fiber optics capable of larger high-speed data rates, with smaller footprints,” said Denise Farinholt, CFO and Co-Founder of FluxLight, Inc. “The increase in demand for more data capacity has led to new breakthroughs in fiber optic technology, and even further advancements are on the horizon.”

The two infographics published by FluxLight provide an overview of advancements made in fiber optic transceiver technology, as well as optical cables.
