 Sunrise Chevrolet to Host 11th Annual Car Show and Benefit BBQThe Glendale Heights car dealership is inviting community to visit on July 18, 2015 for a car show and charity BBQ for the troops.
The car show will feature a wide range of cars including classic cars, iconic American muscle cars, high-performance supercars from around world, and custom cars and trucks in every form imaginable. Area drivers are invited to bring their show-worthy cars to the dealership and enter them in the car show for no charge. The first 50 cars registered will receive a complimentary dash plaque, and prizes will be given to the top 30 cars in the show, including top prizes for the Dealer's Choice and for Best in Show. Clubs are welcome, and there will be parking for vehicle trailers. Attending the car show is free to all. The car show doubles as a benefit barbecue. Attendees will have the chance to purchase meals with the proceeds going to benefit the troops through the USO organization. Sunrise Chevrolet has long been a supporter of the USO and in 2013 was part of a group that donated over $35,000 to support men and women overseas. In past years, the Sunrise Chevrolet car show has been a family friendly event enjoyed by young and old alike. It provides a rare opportunity to view some of the region’s most impressive automobiles and talk to people who truly know and love cars. Plus, it offers up a festive atmosphere with food, music, games, prizes, and lots of fun. Anyone interested in participating in the car show is encouraged to show up early to get their vehicle set up at the dealership and to handle any necessary last minute detailing work.
