"Winnie and the Red Winniebago" Wins the Pacific Book Awards

June 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Lisa Domeny's first children's book, Winnie and the Red Winniebago has been declared the winner of the Pacific Book Awards - Children's Picture Book for 2015.

Winnie and the Red Winniebago is the true story of a senior rescue dog that overcomes adversity and works endlessly to bring love and happiness to the people he meets.

The Pacific Book Awards found the originality, quality, innovation and creativity of Winnie's story worthy of winning the award for Children's Picture Book for 2015.

"It is amazing that this one dog, a dog that no one wanted, is serving as an inspiration to people worldwide, from donating to dog rescue organisations, people writing their own books, helping children overcome fear of dogs, and giving both children and adults the courage to give public presentations."

All profits from Winnie and the Red Winniebago and other books in the Team Golden Oldies series are donated to dog rescue organisations. Since the book's release in March 2015 royalties of $ 1,000 has already been donated.
