McGladrey's Fanelli Wins M&A Advisor's 40 Under 40 Emerging Leaders Award

NEW YORK - June 2, 2015 - PRLog -- McGladrey LLP, the nation's leading provider of assurance, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market, is pleased to announce that Michael Fanelli, partner transaction advisory services (TAS) with McGladrey, has been named by M&A Advisor as a 40 Under 40 Emerging Leaders award recipient. Now in its sixth year, the awards celebrate emerging leaders in M&A and financing, as well as turnaround professionals who have reached significant levels of success while still under the age of 40.

Fanelli was chosen for his notable accomplishments and expertise in business and for his service to the community. He will be recognized during a June 29 awards gala at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York.

Fanelli performs transaction advisory services on both buy-side and sell-side transactions, assisting both financial and strategic buyers. He primarily focuses on the retail and consumer products, and business and professional services industries. His industry specialization also includes transportation and trucking and manufacturing and distribution. In addition, Fanelli leads the New York M&A Learning Exchange program, which develops and presents tailored training programs for current and prospective private equity clients.

Fanelli received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Binghamton University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Association for Corporate Growth, and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.
