Positive WordPress is Real News Today

May 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Positivity is something this world is greatly lacking. From newspapers to radio and television, our lives often are overshadowed by the drab dribble that modern media spoon-feeds us.  Yes, it is quite unfortunate there is war and scandal in our world. Wolves prey on the innocent and people across the globe must be constantly reminded of this time ad time again.

What does this do tour psyches though? Typically, people are products of their environment. They become their cultural upbringing. Adults whose personality is cold most likely had parents who were not affectionate. Adults who turn to a life of criminal activity likely grew up in an environment where they were exposed to those habits on a routine basis. Children are commonly desensitized to violence and moral ineptitudes due to constant cognitive programming due to depictions seen and heard on television and in video games.

Over time, the human condition becomes numb to what should be disturbing. As a result, we too, may at some level become our environment and what we allow into it. If we are surrounded and filled by negativity, we become negative.

Simply turn on the television and be inundated with negativity. Police officers shooting and killing suspects instead of apprehending them for questioning, resulting in large scale city wide riots where people decide to destroy the town in which they work and live to the killing and maiming of people to calmly and collectivity dismiss as simply being “war”. Mankind has a long history of harming ourselves and then glamorizing it. During the days of the Roman Coliseum, gladiators would compete and battle until the gruesome end, which was their almost inevitable death. Only after a gladiator would prevail, the emperor would still decide their fate by judging the crowd’s approval and having him killed or permitted to live yet another day. Death by unnatural means is negative. There is no glamour or glory to it. Hollywood has made it out to be normalcy. Shooting bullets through a downtown area is no more glamorous on the big screen than it is in Baltimore, Maryland, the epicenter of the most recent riots. A young man was brutalized in the hands of some overzealous police offers.  Unfortunately, he lost his life as a result. Whether he was guilty of any crime in the  first place, was never able to be determined. Hopefully, he was able to live a good and decent life before this incident and his memory will be of positivewordpress manner. Why did I say a positivewordpress manner instead of a positive manner? I will get to this in a brief moment.

Instead of the young man’s memory being honored in a hopeful positivewordpress, manner, he has quickly been forgotten in favor of negativity being in the form of the violence of rioting in Baltimore, Maryland, typically a very beautiful city to visit and live in. My last experience in Baltimore was a positive wordpress experience. My time in the Inner Harbor and Camden Yards areas was delightful. It was beautiful, serene, and truly positivewordpress noteworthy.

With that being said, what is positivewordpress and a positivewordpress experience? Less than a year ago, a need was realized for a positive news source. A website that recognizes positivity in this world, no matter how small the thought may be, was essential. The website http://positivewordpress.com was created. It invites all people from all walks of life, to submit news from their own life or from the lives of others that is positive.  For example, James Goetz, New Jersey, and Chantea Goetz recently had a baby Goetz in New Jersey.  There was a positivewordpress moment and the joyous birth announcement was posted.

Stories can be from all walks of life and cover things such as someone opening a door for someone or someone randomly shoveling a sidewalk.

For instance, it was published that James Goetz New Jersey had (attempted to be anonymous) shoveled a large portion of sidewalks and driveways during a recent snowstorm. James Goetz never asked for a penny and upon some neighbors figuring out his good deed, refused any gifts. James Goetz New Jersey had a positivewordpress moment.

We all have choices in life. We can choose to let life’s negativity into our daily existence, often allowing it to fill us and impact our mood and dictate our actions. We could also choose to fill our lives with positivity. We can surround ourselves with positive people, watch positive programming, listen to positive music or positive speech, conduct ourselves in a positive way and give definition to having a positivewordpress manner.

Perhaps some may emulate James Goetz  New Jersey. Others may wish to enrich others lives by sharing our own experiences without ego. You never know how the little actions you do each day effect others around. If someone yells at another , the person being yelled at may become fearful or angry, both terms of negativity.  If instead someone speaks kindly to another, the person being spoken to may be at ease and feel a sense of joy and happiness.

It might be a great and innovative idea for more companies to spring alive and emulate positivewordpress.  Perhaps someone will invent a positivity app that speaks positive suggestions or can turn a negative statement into a positive statement or a negative action into a positive action by creating a positive suggestion. Until that time, positivewordpress,  may stand as the foundation for positivity in the electronic age. Do things in a positivewordpress manner and have a positivewordpress day!
