LAS VEGAS - May 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Las Vegas, 19 May 2015. DFLabs, a leader in incident response and cyber forensics management technology, has announced a new technology-relationship with Guidance Software®, Inc. – creators of EnCase®. This new technology release provides users with the capability to integrate data between the EnCase and IncMan NG platforms:

IncMan NG – an Orchestration Platform for SOC, CSIRT and Cyber Investigators, able to perform management, response, prediction and intelligence sharing of cybersecurity incidents.
DIM NG – Digital Investigation Manager; the most advanced Forensic Case Management Software in the market.

This announcement highlights the ability for EnCase and IncMan NG users to benefit from integration between the Guidance Encase Enterprise software and IncMan NG Automated Incident Response Platform. Through the EnCase software, or more precisely the EnScript® programming feature, users can now seamlessly integrate output from EnCase directly into IncMan, DFLabs Orchestration Platform for SOC, CSIRT and Cyber Investigators able to perform management, response, prediction and intelligence sharing of cybersecurity incidents.

According to the agreement, DFLabs has released two new EnCase Apps; IncMan Integration-NG and DIM Integration-NG. These EnScripts allow the user to upload remote node snapshot information, bookmarks, and clone details from the Guidance Software products (EnCase software/EnScript files) into IncMan NG, the automated incident response management platform, and DIM NG, the forensic case management platform. Incident responders using EnCase will be able to perform retrieval of connected nodes and sweep snapshots, insert snapshot information into IncMan NG, and add evidence related information directly into DFLabs’ incident management platform, in order to perform incident intelligence and forensics case management.

These features are designed to assist the forensic investigation team in their on or off-site operational and managerial processes. Thus, investigative teams are now allowed to record, organize and manage their incident and forensic case data more efficiently between both EnCase and the IncMan NG platform in their response management process. Improvement of speed and quality of the workflow helps forensic and response teams generate faster and stronger analyses, data, and output.

“DFLabs is excited to be one of the first EnCase App Central solutions,” said Dario Forte, CEO of DFLabs. “We currently support over 50 third parties, so we decided to tailor our platform specifically for EnCase Forensic users. The new edition of our dedicated Apps offered via EnCase App Central are unique for our product range and designed specifically to meet the needs of EnCase customers. Now, incident responders and forensic investigators are able to capitalize their findings into a single pane of glass for case management and automated incident response.”
