ITSMA Marketing Excellence Award Categories Announced for 2015
The six categories include Account Based Marketing, Thought Leadership, and Marketing Measurement, along with a new category on Omnichannel Customer Experience, and updated categories on Sales Enablement and Marketing Technology.
The awards program, now in its eighteenth year, honors the marketing strategies, programs, and campaigns that have achieved excellence at B2B services and solutions firms worldwide. The awards put special emphasis on market analysis, marketing innovation, program execution, and measurable business results. The deadline for submissions is June 12, 2015.
“We feel that 2015 will be another banner year in marketing,” said Dave Munn, President and CEO, ITSMA. “The Marketing Excellence Award categories reflect the critical areas that marketing continues to advance in, as well as the changes marketers are making to engage with prospects and clients in more relevant and personalized ways to help grow the business.”
Categories for 2015
Entries for the 2015 Marketing Excellence Awards program may be submitted in the following six categories:
Driving Business with Thought Leadership – Creating and developing high-quality thought leadership organizations, programs, and content that help connect with your target audience, engage in conversations, and advance opportunities that improve your reputation as a thought leader and drive business
Enabling Sales and SME Channels for Deeper Customer Engagement – Improving sales effectiveness, client engagement, and business results by integrating subject matter experts (SMEs) in the sales process and enabling sales people to act as extensions of SMEs through training, new tools, communications, and information resources
Capitalizing on Marketing’s New Tools and Technologies – Effectively leveraging marketing technology, tools, and analytics to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs and business results
Delivering an Omnichannel Customer Experience – Implementing marketing initiatives that integrate people, online and offline programs, and channels to create awareness, generate demand, nurture relationships, and engage B2B clients and prospects at all stages of the buying process
Accelerating Growth with Account Based Marketing – Developing and implementing Account Based Marketing programs that help change perceptions, deepen relationships, and ultimately accelerate growth with target accounts or clients
Measuring and Communicating Marketing Performance – Selecting, tracking, managing, and communicating the right metrics and stories to demonstrate marketing’s impact on business outcomes and results
Criteria for Judging
Entries for the 2015 Marketing Excellence Awards program are judged on the following criteria:
- Quality of the research and analysis that was done to understand the problem or opportunity
- Level of innovation of the solution, program, or campaign
- Effectiveness of implementation
- Appropriate metrics
- Measurable impact on the business
Deadline for Submissions
The deadline for submissions is June 12, 2015. The winners will be announced at a special awards reception at ITSMA’s Annual Marketing Conference on November 3, 2015 in Cambridge, MA.
